We bring like-minded Americans together to share eligible healthcare costs, and we help every member make informed decisions about the cost of their care.

Member-to-Member Health Cost Sharing

Members contribute a monthly sharing amount and share one another's eligible medical costs directly, member to member, with no pooling of money. When a member has an eligible healthcare event larger than their plan's event minimum, they submit the itemized bill for review. Once a need is accepted, sharing is initiated directly, member to member.

Healthcare Event Guidance

Members have access to Dr. Swain for guidance through a healthcare event as it pertains to cost sharing. Through the LASSO Method™, we walk with members before, during, and after a health event.

Real Upfront Prices

We help members know their costs before care, not weeks after in a confusing statement. Seeing real prices first lets families weigh every option, including the choice not to operate.

Facility Vetting

We vet cash-pay surgical facilities on price transparency, a ready cash-pay pathway, and fair all-in pricing. Members get a directory of facilities to start from.

Member Education

Cowboy Christian began in the operating room. After more than twenty years of cardiac, thoracic, and vascular surgery, our founder Dr. Timothy W. Swain III kept meeting patients who wanted the same two things: honest prices and a direct relationship with their surgeon. The old system could not offer either. One patient's simple question about transparent pricing planted a seed that would not let go.

Today a surgeon and a technologist are building the network they wished existed: real medical authority, modern technology, and a community of families who share one another's burdens. There is much more to this story, and we will share it here as we ride toward launch.
